異生

(異生, 异生)

(sa) pṛthagjana; (sa) bālapṛthagjana, v. [lang id =1028]婆; an ordinary person unenlightened by Buddhism; an unbeliever, sinner; childish, ignorant, foolish; the lower orders.

此在佛經中指‘凡夫’而言， 謂不同於聖者的生類， 亦稱‘異生類’。 又、 凡夫造作種種善惡之業， 造善業者生人天善趣， 造惡業者生三途惡趣， 以其趣生的場所不同， 故亦名異生。

凡夫的別名， 因凡夫輪迴六道， 受種種別異的果報而生。
